Healthcare Science Week

Did you know that the 13th of March marks the start of Healthcare Science Week? This is an incredibly special celebration that aims to bring awareness of the many diverse scientific specialisms and professional groups that work across the NHS.

Since 1948, the NHS has played an important role in keeping our nation healthy. Healthcare science workers are often the unsung heroes, staying hidden behind the scenes and we have a lot to thank them for. They work tirelessly to develop solutions that save lives. We have certainly seen this in action during the recent covid pandemic when their efforts, hidden from public view, ensure our NHS could continue to operate even in incredibly difficult circumstances.

This Healthcare Science Week we want to take the opportunity to shine a light and say thank you to the 50,000 healthcare science workers who keep us safe, fit and healthy.

Supporting the NHS and SMEs
